this dreaded ear of mine is causing me so much problems. glowy has a swollen and painful right ear. and she can't even hear proper cause the ear canal's puffy and clogged with pus.
to the doctor's the other day, and then to the polyclinic today.
i pushed through the door and lo and behold, an old friend sitting in the doctor's chair. wriggles jiggles giggless. oh how time flies. people graduate and join the workforce. come this year, even more people i know will start working full time.

i have developed a causal relationship between shihan's injuries and my injuries. the correlation is VERY HIGH.
but now, to determine the direction of the relationship. is it shihan has bruises that's why glory has bruises? or is it the other way round? relationship is undetermined.

i've got bruises and scratches all over me. i'm got a bruise on my left forepalm, my right arm, my left thigh, and two mega bruises and long scratches on my right leg. i've also got scratches on my back!
save for the two mega bruises and scratches on my right leg which i got from tumbling down the stairs on that fateful wet saturday, i have no idea where the rest came from.

a piece of heaven.

it was another night of awesome fun. put away the worries and books to dance dance dance the night away. this time round they were having a summer theme! so out came the light sticks, palm trees and beach balls.

the taxi drivers are all weird today. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO.
one asked me to sing a song for him before i alighted. HUGE QUESTION MARK.
and he was weird throughout the ride, singing random nursery rhymes and national anthems. i'm so thankful i wasn't the last one left on the cab.

hahahahaha ryan has the most idiotic friendly, kind and CONSIDERATE roomie. i popped over to the boyfriend's hostel for porridge and some studying (which we eventually didn't do). his roomie went for his bath, then packed everything into his bagpack and left the room. he even closed the windows, drew the curtains, and locked the door on his way out!

wahahahahhaha. thanks for the privacy really, but we really didn't need THAT MUCH privacy.

he wins the BEST ROOMIE OF THE YEAR award. i don't have a picture of him to post though, which is very sad.

i spent my whole night playing the old school tv console ninja turtle game.

the week is slowly coming to an end. this week i've studied, overslpt for a paper, gone for mock papers to draw some cupcakes, gone holland-v-ing, mahjonged, macdonald-ed, swam, watched a movie, walked around town, took my first NR ride home, spent two good nights hugging my fatty honey, slpt and played spongebob at my bestie's, ate ALOT ALOT ALOT of junk, inclusive of two tubs of ice cream, had my extreme highs and lowest lows.

it's been a GOOD week. too bad my latest friendly intoxicators have flown to bangkok, otherwise the week would REALLY have ended on a high.

had an awesome time out with the 3 cats and a rat. and because all good girls come home before dawn (more like before their parents awaken), i ran like it was a 100m race in heels from the taxi to my lift, popped my smelly ass into the shower and dunked the clothes to soak before jumping into bed, just in time for my dad peek in and catch me asleep.

i got bitten by some sea creature while swimming in open waters yesterday. there's a burning sensation still, even though the bruising is subsiding. i hope the pain goes away soon cause it makes me wanna cry.

i want that speedo swimsuit and that tyr swimsuit. but i already have 5 swimsuits, so is there a need for another 2 swimsuits? the answer is noooooooooooo. but i really like those swimsuits, to the point i've even been dreaming about them.

wants = financial expenses. in simplest terms - money money money. when i think of money i think of jason's place, with all his brother's action figurines... hundreds and hundreds of them! i should've taken a photo when i went up to his place the other day. i think i'll have enough money to spend (not survive on) if i sold one figure every fortnight.

wooohooooo! i should just seduce his brother and clean out his action figures. i should earn quite a hefty sum. any accomplices in my mission? :D

i'm up at 10am despite going to bed at 6.30am after a 2-hour conversation with my dearest flaylaylay - something which we haven't had for a long time. somehow amidst our busy schdeules, we forget to catch up with that certain someone whom you used to spend so much time with.

my fingers and toes smell of chlorine, and try as i might, i can't seem to wash the smell away. swim yesterday laps x 32 and a short 20 minute run with jason and his brother, paul.

mos on wednesday night with the girls. little bits of alcohol left me a little tipsy. (how loser!) i came home to a furious boyfriend who was all ready to slap me.

i'm feeling extremely emo tonight. i feel like curling up in a corner to cry my eyes out. maybe if i hid inside a dark cupboard and held my knees very close to my body, i wouldn't feel so empty. sniffs.

waking up at 6.30am after a fitful 2 hr plus sleep reminds me of the times i had to peel myself out of bed in secondary school. alarm rings, lights come on and strike your eyes.

headed down to ecp for a supposed long run but the run from the previous night and the lack of sleep did serious damage... zapped my energy down to near zero levels so all that was done was a 34 minute run and a 1.5hr walk. the time spent under the blazing sun has left me burnt. no more fair skin sigh.

sushi @ great world followed and with two hungry and tired sun-cooked girls staring and lifting plates of sushi off conveyor belt.

went to the pool for laps x 32 where i freestyled until my head is dizzy. (does the eunice shake shake action) boooooo! and we practiced plunging till the pool closed.

caught PROTEGE with ryan @ 12.15am. our SECOND midnight movie in the 3 years together. louis khoo not very hot in this movie la. i am very sad! ))))):

to sum it up, i have aching arms and legs. it's been a long time since i felt this way...and i actually like it quite abit! buahahaha....

today: run x 1:00:00.

but i am still very bored. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. ))))):

anyway my jaw hurts. i don't think it's because of bak kwa overload i think it's because of the impact of the water hitting my jaw when i was learning how to plunge yesterday. *frowns* any remedies for aching jaws?

i felt so frustrated trying to swim tonight with kids zip zapping all over the pool and my goggles fogging up. after swimming laps x 45 i decided that it was enough for the day. totally not productive. no glide no nice cut into the water. WTH.

on the bright side, we (shinnie and i) learnt how to plunge today. now to practice practice practice and soon we can plop into the pool in the stylo-milo yaya-papaya manner. hahahahahaha!

i decided to put a stop to my loser-ish chinese new years. this year, i went around with my brother and his wife (plus alyssa baby).

too much bak kwa makes my teeth and gums feel sore. i also feel ulcers forming on my front and the left side of my mouth. eehhehe. well fed tummy and well fed wallet. that sums up my first day of chinese new year! now i shall rest my tired body and recharge for more visitations tomorrow!!!

i skipped running yesterday cause my brother pooled (wahha) me to the pool straight after i got home from school. the pool has now become my brother's next favourite place you see....anyhows, baby alyssa made guest appearance at the pool! shihan it's real sad that you + jason missed it!

it was 20 laps followed by hysterical hopping around in the wave pool and walking around like a duck in the lazy river before another 20 laps. i am CHARRED i tell you. ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. any kind soul wants to sponsor some ULTIMATE sunblock? *pouts*
blah and blah we went for dinner after that, walked around aplenty and i think it was 10pm when i got home.

hehehe bright early morning, the skies are blue and the white clouds look like cotton candy! i should run now.. but i'm convincing myself that today should be a break day. HAHA!

swimming today - laps x 30 20 with my favouritest girl. it was a happy swim followed by chicken chop and a short walk around the market.

tomorrow i shall crawl to school in the morning even though my eye is hurting, grab a packet of fries from macs where i switch buses on my way home, take a short nap, then go out for my run (1 hour) and hopefully not bump into any weird reptilesSLASHanimalsSLASHbirdsSLASHweirdpeople.OH and then come home and consider whether i wanna go for thursday's marketing test which conveniently slipped my mind. HEHEHEHE.

it's 4 and i'm feeling ultra lousy.

you know the times when anticipation is greeted with disappointment and yet you have to swallow the disappointment because you see the look on that person's face and he's just waiting for the moment where you to put your hands in the air and jump for joy and tell him this is just what you've been waiting for. and you just can't say that no this is not what i want, because you know it's gonna break his heart.

and when you really couldn't take it anymore you spoke what's true, his sadness and dismay and the tingling sound of his heart breaking just makes your heart sink. and you feel even worse than before although all you really wanted was not to hide any longer cause it just seems so hypocritical to be pretending to be delighted when you're not.

and then you wonder, what were you thinking?
you just want to stab yourself with a knife for being so selfish. should have just kept silent...afterall, the disappointment would have passed on by, wouldn't it?

timed myself at the pool today. i did 30 in 32 minutes...or maybe i miscounted and it was only 28 in 32 minutes, but whatever it is, i'm DELIGHTED cause i did it under 40 minutes! but then again i am convinced that i'm faster today because 1) there were very few people in the pool today hence very little undercurrents to disrupt my glide 2) i was wearing a nike swimsuit and as nike says it, JUST DO IT, and 3) i wanted to come home quickly to play mahjong.

i spent a good 2 hrs in the sun today with a 40-minute run and the rest of the time climbing around at the mega playground. no weird animals today, and like what i told shihan, the animals like to make a fool out of me. they take their positions when they know that i'm out there Alone. SULKS! i've gotten 100 shades darker and there is a possibility of a outbreak when i wake up tomorrow morning, but the feel-good factor is paramount to all of that. (((((:

just got back from my swim. lap count=30 timing=unknown. a kid was splashing water all over. i got bored waiting for my brother to finish his laps so i made a huge wave to drown the kid. but instead of the boo-hoo-hoo-mummy-daddy-someone-bullied-me-in-the-pool manner, he turned around and started splashing at me too. i'm tickled! i like cute kids.


the wind was very cold today. wet body plus cold wind - the ultimate combi get me shivering like anything.



as i was saying yesterday, i met up with with my dearest Ryan for Spizza at holland village. went roaming around big bookshop @ clementi while waiting for him and i found a very pretty notebook. that makes me a very happy girl!












over at holland V i found a nike swimsuit in a wholesale shop for $10. that makes me a very happy girl! plus, a new addition to my wardrobe - a dark grey tee with a blue horse. that makes me a very happy girl!




hog's breath cafe it was because we were both craving for something MEATY and pizza was NOT on his menu.


i love junk food so the food we had at hog's breath makes me a very happy girl!
